What class do I need to take?

We teach courses for many different requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, CPR & First Aid for licensed Childcare, CPR & First Aid for OSHA standards, CPR & First Aid for Foster Care/ Adoption, (EMT) Emergency Medical Technician, Bloodborne Pathogens, Watersafety and Wilderness Emergency Care.

CPR & First Aid for OSHA Requirements
This course is a 4 hour course for Adult CPR & First Aid. For this program, an Adult is anyone 8 years old and above. The course is a hands on program with maniguins and other equipment. There is not a written test to this program. Students complete the course by showing the skills learned. The card issued at the end of the course is good for two years for both CPR & First Aid.

EMT
This course is 110+ hour course for EMT basic completion. The course requires 10 hour ride-along with the ambulance and has a prerequisite of a HCP CPR card. Our course is presented two evenings a week and 6 Saturday mornings. We only teach two courses a year, spring & fall. Please give the office a call for more information.

CPR & First Aid for Licensed Childcare
This class is approved by EMSA for Licensed Childcare Providers. It is an 8 hour course covering Adult, Child and Infant skills. Our courses are usually held on Saturdays in Merced, Madera, Chowchilla and Fresno. EMSA stickers will be attached to the completion card that is issued at the end of class and are registered with the state. Some preschool programs will require this course. Some family care agencies will require this course.

This is a 4 hour course which includes a written test (25 questions) lots of hands on with maniquins and other equipment. Your course completion card will be issued upon successful completion of the course. This card is valid for two years.
