Classes
CPR/ First Aid Basic and Pediatric (Infant/ Child)
- Alert Medical offers classes for both the Pediatric and Basic CPR and First Aid. Our classes meet the requirements for OSHA, Child Care providers, bus drivers, coaches and teacher's clear credential. These classes range from 4 to 8 hours. Completion cards are good for 2 years. Please contact the office for current prices.
Preventative Health and Safety for Child Care Providers
- This program was created specifically for child care providers. The California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) approved this course for child care providers. It is a 7 hour class (Plus 8 hours of CPR & First aid to make the 15 hour training). This is a one time class.
CPR/First Aid with AED
- This course teaches the participants the correct use of the AED when responding ti a patient who is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. This class is intended for occupational work sites, law enforcement agencies, medical offices, clinics and family members who are at risk.
Blood borne Pathogens
- This class is designed to show individuals how to reduce or eliminate the occupational risk of blood borne pathogens. This class is intended for occupational work sites and is designed to meet OSHA requirements of CFR 29 1910. 1030.
Basic life Support for the health care providers
- We offer a Health Care Provider course that is intended for participants who must have a credential documenting successful completion of a course in CPR for professionals. This class is perfect for EMT's, Paramedics, Firefighters, Nurses, CNA's, LVN's, Physical Therapy, Dental professionals and more. This is a 3 to 4 hour course with a completion card good for two years.

CPR for Family and Friends
-This is a non-certificate class. The course is designed for the general public. It covers CPR and first aid for choking.
EMT - Emergency Medical Tech- Our next course begins August 16, 2010. This course is 120 hours and will be Monday and Wednesday nights and 4 Saturdays. The last day will be December 11th. Cost will be $600 which includes your book and class uniform shirt. Class is held at our location in Fresno. Please contact the office for more information.
